Where's a Thorpe reporter when you need one?
Ever wondered where your local newsreporter is? Now you can follow him daily at website Twitter.
Your dedicated reporter, Russell Butt, (that's me) can often be found roaming around Thorpe hunting for stories, or sometimes in the Surrey Herald office in Chertsey.
Other times I might be seen running up Egham Hill in a vague attempt to try and keep fit, while always keeping an eye out for newsworthy stories.
Often when a story breaks, I will need the voice of the local community to help put it together and to ensure they have their say. Twitter allows you to do just that, in real time posts.
