SharonPic200.jpgThorpe Players are running a programme of Youth Drama Workshops at Thorpe Village Hall starting on Tuesday 23rd September. Working in two age groups (up to 14 years from 7pm to 8pm, and up to 21 years from 8pm to 9pm) the sessions will run for 14 weeks, so late comers can still join in.
They aim to tap into each individual's creativity and bring them together allowing ideas to be exchanged and developed. Participants will gain knowledge of acting techniques, movement, stage craft, characterisation and performance skills. All those involved will be a part of the process, whatever their level of ability. Some may want to be stars, others may want to create a character, others may want to write a scene. Each group will work towards a public performance of their play on 7th February next year. Nothing need be prepared beforehand, the only things participants need bring with them are their ideas, creativity, and the commitment to see it through to the end and have some fun. The programme will cost £10 and to book a place or for more details contact Sharon Young on 07973 710228.

We'd like to hear from you.
