A charity jazz concert at Thorpe Park was attended by more than 300 people and raised £3,000.
The event on Friday, March 12, was organised by the Mayor of Runnymede, Cllr Paul Tuley, and the proceeds went to his chosen charities, Runnymede Age Concern, Runnymede Scouts, Surrey Women's Aid and theRotary Club of Chertsey's Daisy Appeal.

The program simulates the process and work undertaken by the United Nations and students research global issues ranging from disarmament and international security to social and health related topics.

A motorist suffered minor injuries after her car was involved in a crash with an HGV on the M25 on Sunday, March 7.
The incident happened on the clockwise carriageway, between junction 12, the Thorpe Interchange and junction 13, Egham, at around 3.22pm.
The female driver of a grey Ford Focus was taken to St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey. The carriageway was closed while the road was cleared, and fully reopened shortly after 6.30pm.
Significant traffic congestion was caused inbetween.

Thorpe Children are set to benefit from a new skate park and play area being installed at the Frank Muir Memorial Field.
The £72,000 project comes after more than two years of consultation and planning, with local children first requesting the facilities in 2007.
Much of the funding for the development comes from the government's Play Builder fund, which aims for all children and young people in England to have regular access to free play space.
Egham library is holding African drumming workshop at the end of March.
The event will be hosted on Saturday March 27, which will be led by master percussionists using West African drums.
Participants will then be able to take part in a group finale.
The times are between 9.30-10.30 and 11am-12pm in Egham, and 2-3pm and 3.30-4.30pm in Sunbury, and the cost is £2.

Year 6 children at Thorpe Lea Primary School raised £500 for victims of the Haiti earthquake through a cake sale.
The pupils also held a name-the-teddy competition and had a mufti day wear they wore the colours of the Haiti flag.
The name-the-teddy competition was won by Headteacher Peter Smyth with the name 'Bernard'.
Four men from Spelthorne and north Runnymede have been given more than ten years in jail collectively for their involvement in a street brawl in Staines last year.
Kevin Kurlej, 22, from Cordelia Road, Stanwell, Samuel Tite, 26, of Oakley Mill House, Thorpe, John Murphy, 23, of the Nightingales, Staines and Nicholas Fitzpatrick, 24, of White Hill Place, Virginia Water were given 30, 40, 40, and 18 months in jail respectively for being involved in a mass brawl when they appeared at Guildford Crown Court on Friday (January 5).
